Since the beginning of Christianity, even of Judaism, the faith has been passed on primarily in the family unit, with the local church community as a pillar of support for the family. FIRE nights are the primary focus of our FIRE program, meant to bring together the entire parish family in an ongoing formation experience. These nights, which occur monthly from 4:30-6:15 PM, involve food, fun, formation, faith, fellowship, and - well - FIRE! We will be using the Pathways Formation Suite, published by Faith and Family Life Catholic Ministries, for our K-6th program on Sunday evenings. Our FIRE program fulfills the requirement for non- Catholic school children in need of religious education and sacramental preparation. (This would take the place of what was formally known as PSR for those families.)

Jesus asks a better question. Why are you spending your money on things that
leave you empty and anxious? Of all of our monthly and yearly subscriptions, this is truly something that is worth the investment! In fact, it is an investment in the eternal life of your family! We charge $75 per child for our Faith Formation program, as we have in the past. This covers a fraction of the sum cost for curriculum and feeding everyone dinner. The remainder of our FIRE nights are sponsored by people who really want to make known the story of God's love. So if that is you, and you or someone you know can offer an additional donation to help us cover materials and meals, GREAT!  If your family is in need of a scholarship so that the entire family can attend, please contact [email protected]. No family or child will be turned away from the FIRE program for lack of funds

The formation offered to parents is based on the Pathways Formation Suite’s Parent focused methodology. It seeks to move parents into deeper engagement in these three ways:

At Home Activities: Who doesn't love a personalized subscription box sent right to their home? With this in mind, we have chosen a resource that provides a subscription box approach to family faith formation! Each year, families will receive a beautifully crafted box that contains all the materials and instructions needed for monthly family activity. Families will be expected to complete 1-2 activities per month and each activity should only take around 20 minutes to complete. Children in sacramental prep will receive a distinct box that is specialized with activities tailored to the sacraments. Pacing guides will be provided each month as well as due dates for required assignments.
