Our desire in the ministry of marriage and family life is to enrich the members of OLL as they grow in holiness through their vocation. We offer a variety of opportunities for prayer and date nights throughout the year. We pray that everyone will come to see the truth, goodness, and beauty that God has given us through marriage and family life.
In-Home Marriage Preparation Resources are accessible only to those who have attended Jan and Lloyd Tate's In-Home Marriage Preparation training. Please follow the link below to visit the website
The Faith and Fun Club was founded in 1952 to bring together the over 50 age group. The objective of this club is to be a community of faith-sharing and fun, to help and care for senior members, and to contribute to the welfare of the parish. Anyone 50 years or older can join. We meet the first Saturday of every other month Jan, Mar, May, Sept and Nov. Dues are $25.00 per year. We host Crawfish Boils, Picnics, Thanksgiving Dinner, Christmas dinner and a dance. Fees are collected to fund our events.
Confraternity of Christian Mothers
Attention all mothers and ladies of the parish: You are invited to join CCM (Confraternity of Christian Mothers). We are forming a new organization open to all mothers and women of all ages who contribute to the spiritual needs of the family and the community. CCM serves as a source of support, encouragement, and renewal through Christian fun and fellowship. Our monthly meetings, which include food, fun, and guest speakers, are planned to benefit mothers spiritually, intellectually, and socially. Contact Barbara Phillips at 985-778-1467 or Melinda Kearns at 985-630-1063.
