Family FIRE Nights are held one Sunday a month from 4:00 - 6:00PM, allowing time for families to attend the 6:30PM Mass if they desire.
Family FIRE nights are meant to bring together the parish as a family in an ongoing formation experience. These nights include:
Formation: approximately one hour of formation, carried out some months with parents and children separated and some months with the whole family together.
Prayer: every formation session is followed by a family prayer experience.
Family dinner: served every month so that your family leaves fed spiritually and physically!
Family FIRE Nights are designed to provide faith formation for K-7th grade. Pre-K and childcare are offered for younger children, and older siblings are invited to participate in leadership roles or Teen Bible Study.
What Happens in Between Family FIRE Nights?
We are using Pathways Formation Suite, published by Faith and Family Life Catholic Ministries. Pathways is designed to facilitate a lifelong development of faith within the family. Families will receive a beautiful, interactive & easy to use kit to continue formation within the home in between FIRE Nights. These kits provide parents with a guide to lead one to two 20 minute family meetings in the home per month. Learn more about Pathways resources by clicking the image below. This year's resource box is called "Made."
Child Care Services
Childcare and Pre-K will be provided and separate from the family formation for every Family FIRE Night. Please know ensuring the safety of your children while under our supervision is a primary priority. ALL individuals acting as supervisors are required to undergo an extensive background check & must complete a safe environment training course before being allowed on campus. The primary supervisors will be adults with experience in caretaking.
