Taste of Tammany Extravaganza

The Taste of Tammany Extravaganza is our annual fundraiser befitting our church, school and local charitites.  The event is enjoyed by many and includes wonderful food provided by local restraunts - thus the name "Taste of Tammany."  The event also features a silent auction and a live band.

Proceeds of this years event benefit Our Lady of the Lake Parish projects, with a portion donated to Children’s Hospital of New Orleans.  This year, with your help, we hosted an exceptional event featuring great food by local restaurants, silent and live auctions, and the local New Orleans’ ‘Bobby J and Stuff Like That Band’.

As always we cannot do without our devoted faithful parishioners to help us keep pace with our growing parish family. We hope you are willing to help with our auction next year.  Please accept this invitation by becoming an auction donor. Simply fill out a donor form return it to the Parish Life Center or contact Rhona Garcia at 985.264.2079. A representative will contact you to answer any questions and arrange for the pick-up/delivery of any items you are able to share with us.

We are also looking for volunteers to help our Committee Chairs.  Please take a moment to consider how you can contribute your time in making our event a success. Volunteer forms are located in the rear of the church or contact Letha Berner at 985.727.3561.  You may also return forms to the Parish Life Center.  Every little bit helps!

Our 17th annual “Taste of Tammany” took place on Saturday, April 26, 2008 in the Castine Center at Pelican Park.  Our Extravaganza 2008 celebrated the theme “Caribbean Nights - Escape with us to the tropical isles for an enchanting evening in paradise."
