Girls Scouts is open to girls from Kindergarten through 12th grade. Currently, troops are all OLL School students but we are interested in opening up to all girls and need volunteer leaders to manage the troops. Girl scouting builds girls of courage, confidence, and character who make the world a better place. They do so by honoring God and service to their country and community. Dues are approximately $54 annually.

Girls from Our Lady of the Lake School in Pre-K through 7th grade can participate in this virtue-based program that teaches participants to apply their faith in real life. A “Mission of the Month” helps participants to practice the ”Virtue of the Month”. We have a “Holy Hero” of the month which provides a “real life” example of how to live out the virtue in your day-to-day life. K4Jonline is available to each participant to learn more about the mission through activities, games and resources. Some of our past activities have included food collection for Samaritan Center, bake sales for the Haitian Ministry, and making bracelets for St. Jude Hospital. Meetings are scheduled in Sept., Oct., Dec., Jan., Feb., Mar. and Apr., one Friday per month, from 2:15-4 PM at OLL. Dues are $50 per year.

A group of married couples are organizing “Supper & Substance” events (once a quarter). Their goal is to start with Supper and Substance and branch out into more “in-depth study”. Any parish couple is welcome to join by helping organize, present ideas or just participate in the events. Fees may be assessed to cover the cost of event participation.
